We got a little lucky with how unseasonably warm this winter has been – I was very late with mulching to repress weeds in our kitchen garden come spring, but now the job is done!
So, yeah, it’s been a strange winter here in New England. No snow where we are, but for a few flurries. It was 60 degrees last week! Maybe this is the new normal, but it seems very bizarre to me. One nice thing is that all the rain we’ve been getting has created a beautiful muted green landscape around our property …

Our kitchen came with a black AGA range. These ranges are made by a British company and are very on-trend right now due to the fact that they keep popping up in kitchens by British superstar kitchen designers like DeVol and Plain English.
There’s no arguing that an AGA is pretty.
